Shares in Japan Airlines fell by 81 percent overnight amid fears the company
could collapse into bankruptcy next week.

Meanwhile British Airways and its oneworld partners have stepped up their
efforts to keep J-A-L as a partner.

The alliance is ready to pump more than 850-million pounds into the carrier
and guarantee over one BILLION pounds in revenue over the next three years.
